Photopur — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

Photopur is built around a simple promise: your photos never leave your iPhone. The app runs entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your data.

What we collect

Nothing. Photopur has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. We do not collect personal information, usage data, device identifiers, or location. No information about you or your photos is ever sent off your device.

Access to your photo library

To do its job — helping you find and clear out duplicates, screenshots, and other photos — Photopur asks for permission to access your photo library. This access is used only on your device, in real time, to show you photos and to delete the ones you choose to remove. Photos are never uploaded or copied anywhere outside your iPhone. Deletions go through the standard iOS confirmation and land in your Recently Deleted album for 30 days, exactly as with Apple's Photos app.

Data stored on your device

Photopur saves small bits of information locally on your iPhone — such as your game scores, progress, streaks, and which photos you have already reviewed — so the app works the way you expect between sessions. This data stays on your device and is removed if you delete the app.

No third parties

Photopur contains no advertising, no third-party SDKs, no trackers, and no payment processors. Because the app does not connect to the internet for its core features, there is no third party that could receive your data.

Children

Photopur does not collect any data from anyone, including children, and contains no content directed at children specifically.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
